camt.053.001.14 BankToCustomerStatementV14
ISO 20022 camt Messages
Report the account’s booked entries and balance information so the owner or its authorised recipient can reconcile the account and understand its position.
Requested end-of-day statement: EUR 10000.00 opening minus one EUR 1250.00 booked debit equals EUR 8750.00 closing.
This guide covers the exact base ISO message version named here. It does not establish compliance with SEPA, CBPR+, a bank’s implementation guide or any other scheme profile.
Delivery times, supported options, duplicate handling and operational responses depend on the service agreed between the parties.
XML Schema validity establishes structure and lexical constraints, not valid external-code membership, complete business-rule compliance or proof that money is available.
The business scope is booked entries only. Sharing ReportEntry16 with camt.052 and camt.054 does not permit pending entries in a statement.
A statement need not mean only end-of-day reporting. The MDR permits timing such as intraday or prior-day statements under the agreed service.
One message can contain statements for multiple accounts. Each statement requires balance information, but the base XSD does not mandate a universal opening/closing pair or a single bank-specific balancing formula.
